Hugh Williams III, Executive Director
Hugh Williams III is the Executive Director of a Memory Care Community, a role he has held with dedication since 2017. Raised on a hillside farm in Yamhill County, Hugh attributes his strong work ethic and commitment to his upbringing, where he learned the value of hard work while bucking hay and raising cattle. Inspired by his parents and a great aunt, Hugh began his career in senior living as a Maintenance Director, where he found fulfillment in making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Guided by a mentor and driven by a desire to help, Hugh pursued leadership roles, ultimately becoming an Executive Director. His personal philosophy, "work hard, have fun, and be kind," reflects his approach to both professional and personal life. Hugh is passionate about creating a supportive environment for others and believes in the importance of trust and kindness.
Outside of work, Hugh enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, and marble hunting with his family. He and his wife have three daughters, a son, and two grandchildren. Hugh is most proud of his family and admires his father's unwavering dedication to providing for his loved ones. Hugh hopes to be remembered for his kindness, his willingness to help others, and his commitment to making a positive impact in the lives he touches.
Robert Powell, RN, Resident Services Director
Robert Powell, RN, is the Resident Services Director with a passion for healthcare, leadership, and personal growth. Growing up in a farming community outside Hillsboro, Oregon, Rob's early experiences instilled discipline, hard work, and respect for earning and managing money. His healthcare career began right after high school, working in various hospital departments before pursuing nursing.
Rob's dedication led him to achieve a master's degree and gain experience in multiple nursing fields. He lives by the principle, "You can't give up on what you want in life, even if it seems like your goals are taking too long to achieve." Inspired by Damian Lillard's integrity and leadership, Rob often reflects on the quote, "If you want to look good in front of thousands, you have to outwork thousands in front of nobody."
Beyond his career, Rob is passionate about the Bible, music, art, and travel. He has explored numerous countries and driven across the U.S. twice, always seeking to connect with local communities and gain new perspectives. When not working, he enjoys visiting the Oregon coast and playing guitar. Rob lives by the words, "Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength," and values the wisdom gained from his travels.
Stephanie Seward, LPN, Resident Services Coordinator
Stephanie Seward, LPN, has been the Resident Services Coordinator for the past five years and is a dedicated professional with over 22 years of experience in health care. She began her career as a Medication Technician in an Assisted Living Community, later worked as a Medical Assistant, and earned her nursing license in 2013. Stephanie’s passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others has been the driving force behind her career. She shares, "I thrive in providing comfort and support to my residents and families."
As a wife and mother of three, Stephanie considers motherhood her greatest blessing and a profound purpose. She strives to "nurture, love, grow, teach, and shape" her children into compassionate individuals. Outside of work, she treasures time at home with her family on their farm, finding joy in beach trips but always happiest in the company of her loved ones.
Stephanie’s personal motto, "Work hard, be kind, and amazing things will happen," reflects her strong moral compass and commitment to integrity. Whether guiding her children or caring for residents, she aims to leave a legacy of advocacy, kindness, and unwavering dedication to others' needs and comfort.
Rebeccah Trunde, Behavior Support Specialist
Beccah Trunde is a dedicated Behavior Support Specialist with a passion for senior care. Growing up in Newberg and McMinnville, Oregon, Beccah was inspired by her grandmother's strength and resilience. Her early experiences working in an Assisted Living community ignited her love for working with the elderly, leading her to a fulfilling career in senior care.
The Maple Valley team has benefited from Beccah's compassion, understanding, and expertise since she joined in 2021. Guided by her motto, "never give up," she positively impacts the lives of residents through her dedication and care.
Outside of work, Beccah treasures her family, taking pride in her daughters and cherishing her role as a grandmother. With a strong belief in finding joy through laughter, she hopes to be remembered as kind, loving, and someone with a great sense of humor.
Emma Elwell, Executive Chef
Emma Elwell is the Executive Chef at Maple Valley, where she combines her passion for food and service with a dedication to creating memorable dining experiences. Raised in Dayton, Oregon, Emma credits her mother and Rachel Ray as her greatest influences. Her culinary journey began with a small catering company, where she honed her skills in large- scale cooking. Joining Maple Valley in 2017, Emma held various roles before becoming Executive Chef, a position she considers a natural fit for her love of food and hospitality.
Emma values patience, understanding, and perseverance, qualities she admires in her mother, whom she describes as a source of unmatched strength. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, creating balloon art, and relaxing at Fogarty Beach. Guided by the motto, "All lights turned off can be turned on," Emma is known not only for her culinary expertise but also for her generosity and commitment to helping others.
Matthew Stahl, Environmental Services Director
Matthew Stahl is the Environmental Service Director at Maple Valley, where he has been a valued team member since 2022. Raised in Dayton, Oregon, Matthew attributes his strong character and work ethic to the influence of his parents. His early career began as a line cook at Evergreen, where he learned the importance of reliability and commitment. Matthew also served five years in the Marine Corps, an experience that shaped his resilience and positive outlook on life.
Passionate about farming and deeply grateful for his children, Matthew admires his boss, Hugh, for his unwavering dedication to the safety and happiness of those around him. Outside of work, he finds joy in outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, fishing, and foraging. Camping with family and friends, particularly at Marion Lake, is where he feels most at peace.
Matthew aspires to create a homestead where he can raise his children, tend to animals, and grow his own food. Guided by the motto, "Life isn't about winning and losing but about winning and learning," he strives to live with compassion and hopes to be remembered for the kindness he shows to others.
Ashley Keele, Life Enrichment Coordinator
Ashley Keele is the Life Enrichment Coordinator, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to her role. Originally from Bakersfield, CA, Ashley values her family deeply and credits her mom and the Spice Girls as early influences. Overcoming challenges with resilience, she is passionate about travel, marble hunting, and creating meaningful experiences. Ashley shares her life with her Great Dane, Dude, and dreams of one day moving to Scotland. She aspires to be remembered as a fun-loving and adventurous individual who brings joy to those around her.
